Falisi v. Phoenix Consulting, LLC, et al.


Cristina Falisi, former Project Manager at Phoenix Consulting, L.L.C., filed a claim for sex discrimination pursuant under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. After questioning her supervisor’s billing practices, Falisi was subjected to a relentless campaign of harassment and criticism of her work. Falisi was ultimately terminated and removed from her position as Project Manager and demoted to a position with a significant pay cut. Falisi claimed that the true reason behind her termination was a result of sex discrimination. She was seeking relief for the illegal discriminatory practices conducted by Phoenix Consulting, L.L.C. under the NJLAD. This case was fairly recently settled on January 19, 2016.
