Former Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner is accused of filing false charges and targeting a domestic violence survivor to help clear the man accused of physically injuring that survivor, because of his personal and professional ties to the accused perpetrator’s family. He is also accused of using his office to target the victim. Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor and former First Assistant Prosecutor under Tyner, Cary Shill, and prosecutor’s office spokeswoman Donna Weaver are also named in the suit.
